Rachel showed us her favorite things from her magazine such as the Gel Mat that is placed on the floor in front of your stove to keep your legs and feet from hurting from standing t o long. A toaster oven that has a sensor to stop the cooking process of foods from being overdone, so no more burnt toast. Bare minerals makeup was also featured as one of her favorite products. Everyone in the studio audience received the products.

Roast Cornish Game Hens is her meal of the day. Brush olive oil of hens then salt and pepper, sprinkle some fresh thyme and some lemon zest, roast in a hot oven 450’ for 30 to 40 minutes. The vegetable is a Kurry Squash or you can use a butternut squash, trim up into cubes then sprinkle with salt and pepper then brown in the oven. When squash is golden brown, it is mixed in with stove stop stuffing of apples, celery and onions. Serve with hens and gravy made from the drippings of the hens and chicken stock, pour gravy over stuffing mix for a complete family meal. This recipe along with all the products discussed can be found on the Rachel Ray web site.
