Rachel Oberlin sentenced
May 6th, 2011 - 12:58 am ICT by Aishwarya BhattLos Angeles, May 5 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Charlie Sheen’s former companion Rachel Oberlin has been sentenced for driving under influence. The porn star crashed her black Lexus into a light pole in February. When the police got to the scene, she reportedly told them that her vehicle slipped on ice.
The officers who went to the scene never believed her story and asked her to submit herself for several sobriety tests including a breathalyzer test. She refused to comply with the police insisting rather that she wants to see her lawyer first.
She was nonetheless given Class A misdemeanor operating a vehicle while intoxicated, speeding and reckless driving charges. She reached a plea bargain with the prosecutors which saw some of the charges dropped.
On Tuesday, Rachel who is known in the porn industry as Bree Olson, was found guilty on the reduced charge of Class C misdemeanor operating a vehicle while intoxicated. The 24-year-old was subsequently placed on a year’s probation with her driver’s license suspended for 90 days.
Rachel recently left Charlie Sheen in the middle of the actor’s “Torpedo” tour in the United States. Sheen is still on the tour and recently revealed in Vancouver that he was not responsible for the 1990 shot the injured Kelly Preston.
