Rachel Maddow takes on Bill O’Reilly yet again

New York City, Aug 9 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Rachel Maddow launched a full-scale verbal assault again on Bill O’Reilly on Friday night. She launched this attack after O’Reilly’s commented on her in his newspaper column, in which he referred to Maddow as “far-left loon” and “uber-leftist”. He also said majority of the news presented by Fox are lies and unconfirmed.
Maddow made fun of O’Reilly’s column saying it was not interesting and didn’t have a lot of followers. She also said TV ratings which indicated O’Reilly’s column as popular was false and not substantial.
Rachel said that, “This time the case against me is in his nationally-syndicated column, which I’m sure is read by millions and millions and millions and millions and millions of people.”
O’Reilly’s written comments in his column was an answer to an appearance by Maddow as a guest on David Letterman’s show this week in which she had stated that Fox News was “slime balls” and was in favor of racial bias against white people.
He said Maddow had no idea of the statements she made on the show and had no confirmed basis to say so. Maddow retaliated that O’Reilly was stupid and ignorant.
