August 9, 2010 (Pen Men at Work): The current feud between Rachel Maddow and Bill O’Reilly seems to have no end. Explaining the basic difference between ‘ad populum’ and ‘ad hominem’ attacks of Bill, Rachel took him on again Friday night. She responded bitterly to him calling her an “uber-leftist” and a “far-left loon” in his recent column. Bill claims to have a larger viewer base than she has. However, her claims about Fox News have been reported as having no shred of evidence.

“This time he pulled me down in the nationally-syndicated column. I am sure millions of people read it,” said Maddow making fun of Bill for his reliance only on the TV ratings to fire her arguments against him. O’Reilly’s syndicated column was meant as a response to Rachel for she demeaned Fox News by calling it “slimeballs” and by saying that the network adds to the fears of white viewers about the black people when she was with David Letterman.

In reply to her attacks on his network, Bill called her claims absurd, baseless and unreasonable. According to him, Maddow has no iota of evidence to prove her superficial claims. Laughing away O’Reilly’s statement, she called it “stupid” and told him that it was foolish to say that she had no evidence.

Rachel is said to have a kind of video evidence to put Bill O’Reilly down. She said that the way he deals with media matters is absolutely unjust. She claimed that he has been recorded saying one thing, one day and denying it the following day in the video.
