Going Green is the latest fad that has come in to existence the world over and sure enough, the celebrities are making no efforts to stay away from this social issue. The most recent addition to the green club is the actress Rachel Leigh Cook, who is featured on the cover of this month’s issue of the Coco Eco magazine.

In the interview given to the magazine, Cook has said that she is embarking on her green agenda from home. She has admitted that she is making momentous efforts at home to “go green.” Rachel says that she is overcome with somewhat of what can be termed as the “borderline obsessive compulsive disorder,” for which she has an unusual fetish towards recycling stuffs.

Rachel divulges the fact that she carries home chips packets and soda cup lids home form the movie, to safely put them away in the bin. She says, “I definitely like to get the word out on green fashion. Why not? When you can do something that’s more globally conscious conscious and help out our economy.”

Reportedly, the “She’s All That” actress has sported eco-friendly fashions for the cover shoot of the magazine, which she has found to be very appealing. According to reports, the willowy actress had looked visibly excited about her newly acquired compost heap at home, on the day of the photo-shoot.

She stressed on the issue, saying, “It’s the right thing to do. I’m consistently surprised to see people who want to tempt fate with their beliefs about the myth of global warming. That’s really terrifying to me. So I think I have to compensate for some people who aren’t with the program.”
