Rachel Bilson creates a buzz in Magnum Ice Cream ad
April 22nd, 2011 - 11:25 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattLos Angeles, April 22 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Magnum Ice Cream is moving to the United States and they have chosen actress Rachel Bilson to star in their ad campaign.
Rachel is featured in a three-part short film series to promote the ice cream. The films were directed by the legendary Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld. In an interview recently, Rachel revealed that it is a great honour for her to do a piece that features someone like Lagerfeld.
The ad was premiered on Thursday night at the Tribeca Film Festival. Rachel wore a Chanel dress for the event. She revealed during an interview at the event that she has loved fashion since she was a child. Lagerfeld returned the compliment saying Rachel was the right person for the ads.
During an interview, Lagerfeld praised Rachel’s versatility and her ability to “play with her face without even saying one word.” He said with her qualities, Rachel made the making of the ads easy.
The actress is currently working on her latest TV project. The pilot of the show titled “Hart of Dixie” will be shown on CW network. Based on the success of the show, CW will make an announcement regarding the future of the show.
