Quentin Tarantino to receive Honorary Cesar Award
January 22nd, 2011 - 1:51 pm ICT by ANILondon, Jan 22 (ANI): American filmmaker Quentin Tarantino will be presented with a special prize at the Cesar Awards in Paris.
Best known for films such as Kill Bill, Tarantino is being honoured as “a great international artist,” reports the BBC.
Algerian film Of Gods and Men will be the main contender at France’s equivalent of the Oscars - it leads all nominations with 11, including one for Best Picture. It will compete against Roman Polanski’s The Ghost, which has received eight nominations.
The annual awards will be presided over by US actress Jodie Foster on February 25. (ANI)
