Queens Of The Stone Age Gets Ready For New Album
July 26th, 2010 - 6:16 pm ICT by Sampurn WireJuly 26, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Queens of the Stone Age haven’t released an LP for the last 3 years. Their last release was in 2007 when they had released “Era Vulgaris’. The band is back after a big break and frontman Josh Homme by now has many ideas of what he desires their next album to be like. He, however, is unsure as to how to achieve it.
He says that he is looking forward to explosions and fireworks as well as some sort of a grand finale; I don’t really care how we get to that. He in a way wants the next Queens record to be like a strong firework demonstration, in which “grand finale’ is highlighted.
The singer also admits that in case the group ever breaks up, the fans shouldn’t anticipate a reunion in the future. Josh is strictly against a reunion.
He doesn’t care about a reunion or what the band did in the past. He doesn’t want to go back and he wants to make music right now.
