Oct. 30, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Queens Of Comedy were back together on Friday night, as the four veteran comedians Adele Givens, Sommore, Ms Laura Hayes and Mo’Nique were seen on Monique’s new show “The Mo’Nique Show”. The four ladies were seen together again after a span of almost eight years. The celebrated comedians were all part of the sequel to ‘The Original Kings Of Comedy’ known as the ‘The Queens of Comedy’.
‘The Mo’Nique Show’ is a new show hosted by the former member of the “Queens Of Comedy”, Mo’Nique, which was screened for the first time this month on the Black Entertainment Television. The show basically features musical icons and celebrities from different genres who are shown having a candid conversation with the comedian. Mo’Nique’s hilarious and amazing comic timing and the huge array of famous personalities has enabled the late night show to achieve decent viewership within a span of few weeks of its telecast. Speculations were running high for the past few weeks as it was presumed that Mo’Nique would invite the other members of ‘The Queens of Comedy’ on her show. The much awaited episode went on air yesterday and was highly enjoyed by all the fans of the comic icons.
However, “The Queens of Comedy” have ruled out any possibilities of the four comedy veterans coming together in the near future. Recently, former member Sommore has emphasized that it is unlikely that they would be reuniting, as all of them are held up with their own lives and their busy schedule makes it quite impossible for them to go back to the days of their togetherness.
