The audio of “Putrudu’ produced by Boddam Indrasena under the banner of Friends Film Academy introducing Sravan Bapatla as director, with the producer himself playing the hero and Tanisha pairing opposite him as heroine, was launched at a program held at Prasad Labs’ preview theatre recently.
Senior producer KS Rama Rao launched the audio CDs and handed over the first piece to comedian Sivareddy. Artiste and director Chinna released the audiocassettes and handed over the first cassette to senior heroine Kavita. Director Sravan says, “The film is being made with “Parusavedi’ (a trick which makes iron as gold) concept as its backdrop. At the same time, it has several elements like suspense and comedy too. The hero’s character had two different shades. While one is an Aghora, another is a medico.” Music director Satya Y says, “There are five songs in the movie. We are confident all the songs would attract the audiences.” Hero says, “The director molded the character to suit my body language. I am a champion in martial arts at national level for three times. All the action scenes choreographed on me came out well. I am a fan of SP Balasubrahmanyam and I am very happy to play hero of a film for which he rendered songs.”
Apple Music is marketing the audio. Bindu is playing another heroine in this movie, while MS Narayana, Surya, Kondavalasa Lakshmana Rao, Duvvasi Mohan, Rajender, Uttej, Nalla Venu, Pruthviraj, Jeeva, Jayavani, Kavita and others are in the cast. Music is by Satya Y, camera is by V Prabhapkar, editing is by D Raja, while story, screenplay, dialogues and direction are by Sravan Bapatla. Bukka Venugopal is the co-producer.
