Shooting of “Putrudu’ directed by Sravankumar Bapatla, presented by Pan America, and produced by Boddam Indrasena under the banner of Friends Film Academy with Indra and Tanisha in the lead is almost complete, but for two days of patchwork.
Producer and the hero of the film Indra says, “I was trained in martial arts and I got a suitable story to suit my body language. This character in fact is a challenge to me, as it had two different shades. We choreographed two songs at Ooty recently under the dance direction of Vidya. We are making efforts to launch on August 13. Presently post-production works are in progress. The film is being made with “Parusavedi’ (a trick which makes iron as gold) concept as its backdrop. At the same time, it has several elements like suspense and comedy too. We are making efforts to release the film in September.”
Bindu is playing another heroine in this movie, while MS Narayana, Surya, Kondavalasa Lakshmana Rao, Duvvasi Mohan, Rajender, Uttej, Nalla Venu, Pruthviraj, Jeeva, Jayavani, Kavita and others are in the cast. Music is by Satya Y, camera is by V Prabhapkar, editing is by D Raja, while story, screenplay, dialogues and direction are by Sravan Bapatla. Bukka Venugopal is the co-producer.
