Pussycat Dolls’ future uncertain

Washington, Aug 2 (ANI): The future of pop girl group ‘Pussycat Dolls’ is said to be uncertain after their singer Ashley Roberts reportedly sobbed to fans about the group’s break up.

The bandmates have been rumoured to be going through some tension after their last two singles were released under the name ‘The Pussycat Dolls featuring Nicole Scherzinger’.And the reports further escalated after band member Melody Thornton publicly criticised Scherzinger onstage at a gig in Phoenix, Arizona earlier this year.

According to Britain’s Daily Mail newspaper, while other members have also spoken out about feeling sidelined by their record label, it is only now that Roberts is alleged to have said that the band is no more.

She is said to have broken down in front of fans during her recent trip to London and revealed all about the split.

“This is the last time we’ll be in the U.K. as a band. We’ve broken up. We’re sorry,” Contactmusic quoted her as reportedly saying.

But representatives have added to the confusion by dismissing Roberts’ comments, insisting the Pussycat Dolls are still going strong.

“The girls are still together. They are in Beirut for a gig,” a spokesperson added. (ANI)
