“Pushing Daisies” is back and we hope it bangs tooMay 31st, 2009 - 10:10 pm ICT by GD
Beginning with this Saturday night’s episode, the ABC will be and unveiling the last three episodes of the “Pushing Daisies” starting with the “Window Dressed to Kill”, in their effort to make amends for the miserable past episodes of the beloved show.
The last we saw of the gang of the “Pushing Daisies”, Ned’s father was engulfed in doing a brief and cranky cameo, while Olive was going undercover teaming up with one of the Detective Agencies from Norway.
For the first of the three episodes, David Arquette has been slated to make his return and as per the rumors that are flying, he will be romancing with Olive.
However, one cannot help wondering why it took so long for the ABC to release these three episodes and so much so that the show is nearing its end. The ABC could have released these three episodes back in December, which could have prevented it from getting yanked off the air and moreover supplied answers to the series’ many mysteries, such as Ned’s father, Vivian learning Lily is Chuck’s mother, Emerson’s daughter, etc. etc. that have many a times confused the viewers.
The series suddenly being yanked off the air was bad enough, but leaving its viewers with no proper finish to the series was unpardonable.
But now, that the times are different and leaving the past aside with three new and final episodes on the deck, things do look better and exciting as well for the fans of the “Pushing Daisies.”
