New York, May 9 (IANS/EFE) Puerto Rican singer Olga Tanon is studying an offer by a US television network to do a reality show in her home, she told EFE Tuesday.

“We’re still considering (the offer),” said Tanon, who this week will offer a concert in New York.

The proposal for the reality show arose after a survey conducted in the US determined that the public is interested in learning about the life of the performer of songs such as “Es mentiroso”, “Bandolero” and “Todo lo que sube baja”.

The singer, known as the Woman of Fire, says she is still surprised by the result of the survey and refuses to identify the network that is behind the project.

She emphasized that she wants to protect her children Gabriela, Indiana Noa and Ian Nair from situations that could harm them and she has asked the network to fulfil certain conditions.

“If they are ready to make a reality show, not as Olga Tanon is seen onstage, but how I get up, put (my hair up) in a bun with a ribbon … take care of my kids, make them breakfast and take them to school, fine,” she said.

She said that test recordings for the programme were made that were sent to the company, but “they asked for a little more action regarding family problems”.

“There aren’t any and I can’t create them,” she emphasized.
