September 29, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Recently we caught up with Prosenjit and asked a few questions about his upcoming film Autograph. The movie has been directed the veteran Srijit Mukherjee and produced by Shree Venkatesh Films. The superstar claimed that this movie is a tribute to the Uttam Kumar starrer Nayak. The actor said that there are certain common factors among all Bengali Superstars and he has tried to portray that in “Autograph’.

Prosenjit got candid during the interview and said that there are a lot of rumors about him in the industry that he has tried to address through this film. Prosenjit does not feel good about being tagged as a master manipulator of the Bengali film industry who exploits his heroines. The actor feels that it is important to have good relations with his co-actors and he has never tried to influence other people’s judgment to further his own cause.

Prosenjit also told us that he used to get emotional when he was young but with experience he has matured enough to understand that emotions do not matter in the industry. Nowadays the actor chooses not to react to controversies and stays away from them. Prosenjit maintains that he still remains a highly emotional person but now he has learned to control his emotions.
