Noted media personality Sanjay Reddy, chief executive officer (CEO) of Zee Telugu, has been promoted as the chief operating officer (COO) of the Zee South channels, which comprises Zee Telugu, Zee Tamil, Zee Kannada and Zee 24 Gantalu.

Reddy had joined the company in September 2007 as business head of Zee Telugu. Prior to joining Zee, he was CEO of Pearl Media, the media sales arm of Century Communication Ltd. Reddy holds a post-graduation degree in business administration from Pune University and has experience of over 20 years with various media houses such as Walt Disney Television International (India), India TV, Sony Entertainment Television India (now MSM India), The Times of India, CNBC-TV18 (then ABNi), Siti Cable, ESPN and Star Sports. – Sampurn Media
