July 30, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The latest season of Project Runway holds quite a few surprises for the fans as host and creator Heidi Klum recently revealed some of the changes that the season will see. The former supermodel said that the show will pose new challenges for the designers that is sure to surprise the audience as well and there also be some major changes in the entire structure of the episodes.

To start with, Heidi Klum revealed that the show will be shifting from the 10 pm slot to the 9pm slot, as was evident during the premiere on July 29. The length of the show has also been changed from one hour to 90 minutes. Heidi klum felt the increased time would allow the audience to see more of the judges’ deliberation. She explained that the elimination round takes all day but it was shown for just 10 minutes in the previous seasons. She has also talked about the new challenges that the designers will be facing that includes the never-before hat challenge. There will also be 17 instead of 16 designer and the twist will be that the first designer will go home even before that group shifts into the new apartment. Heidi Klum has also confirmed that Project Runway will be staying put in New York and not be shuttling between Los Angeles and New York, as rumored earlier.

Heidi Klum was recently spotted in New York during the premiere party of Project Runway. She looked stunning in a white jumpsuit topped with a black jacket. The event was attended by A-listers such as Betsey Johnson and many others.
