Progression to Britain’s Got Talent final ‘totally unexpected’: Susan Boyle
May 26th, 2009 - 4:15 pm ICT by ANILondon, May 26 (ANI): Britain’s Got Talent’s unique finding Susan Boyle has said that her advancement to the show’s final was ‘totally unexpected’.
During the semi-finals, Boyle performed Memory from the musical Cats during the semi-finals.
“I’m feeling really good because it was a totally unexpected result,” the Telegraph quoted Boyle as saying in an interview with the ITV website.
The 47-year-old, from Blackburn, west Lothian, said she had overcome an uncertain start to her performance.
“It was a fairly rocky start to begin with, because to begin with I sort of had a croaky note but that was because I had a cold. I said to myself ‘well you’d better just pick yourself up and keep going’,” she said.
“So all I did was just keep going and after that it just got better. The audience reaction was really stunning,” she added. (ANI)
