September 8th, 2010 - 8:27 pm ICT by Angela Kaye Mason ( 3 comments )

hulk Sep 8 (THAINDIAN NEWS) TNA wrestler Terry Bollea, known to his fans as “Hulk” Hogan was put in the hospital on September 5, complaining of extreme back pain, as he joked that the room is for “oldtimers”.

The 57 year old wrestling icon shocked his fans by posting a short video of himself and his wife on Twitter, as he shared with everyone that he is feeling better and wants to go home within the next two days. Hulk went on to explain that he had been taken to the hospital in an ambulance because of the excruciating pain in his back, and stated that his body is suffering from the many years of his wrestling career.

Although he was expected to appear, Hogan was not at the “No Surrender” event on Sunday night pay-per-view. He is still employed by TNA but is not expected to show up for taping of their weekly television show for at least a week. Hulk has already undergone two surgeries this year and missed time from those as well.

But Hulk emphasized that this particular hospital trip was not related to those surgeries. He is hoping that his physicians can “give me something to calm this down.” Hulk also sent out a warning to his rivals, and stated that when he does come back to TNA, he is going to “get real dangerous.”
