Actor Prithviraj will be seen playing a schoolteacher in his film, Manikya Kallu. The film is about the relationship between a teacher and a student. Prithviraj’s role is that of a teacher, Vinaya Chandran, who has been transferred to a village school. While the heroine will be a newcomer and hasn’t been decided yet, the supporting cast includes Innocent, Mukesh, Jagathy, Kottayam Nazeer, Jagadeesh, Salim Kumar and K P A C Lalitha. Directed by M Mohanan and produced by Meenakshi Movies, the film’s music has been composed by M Jayachandran.

Meanwhile, Prithviraj is currently working on his films Pokkiri Raja and Thanthonni.
