June 9, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The 503rd episode of ‘America’s Got Talent’ was another eventful and surprising one that reasserted some old proverbs like ‘Don’t judge a book by its cover’. The performance of Prince Poppycock was the absolutely perfect reassertion of the proverb.

During the pre-performance, the man appeared with long brown hair with a rock star look. The audience and the judges expected just another wannabe rock singer. Prince Poppycock appeared on stage in a whole new avatar of a drag queen. Even at this point there were doubts about his performing capabilities.

The note-perfect performance of “Figaro’ left the audience and the judges awe-struck at the sheer talent of the man. Other details like his immaculate make-up and his meticulous stage theatrics were noticed and he got three big YESes from the judges.

After the performance, Sharon Osbourne stood up and threw her papers in the air and said that she loves Prince Poppycock and thinks he is ‘magnificent’. Piers Morgan showed his surprise and said that he didn’t expect much from royally dressed drag queen but actually loved the performance.

Howie Mandel called the performance great and admired the passion of Prince Poppycock.

The audience and the judges felt touched to send such a talented performer to Las Vegas to appear on the big stage and show his talent to the world. Prince Poppycock had been performing mainly in nightclubs for years before getting a break in ‘America’s Got Talent’.

Other highlights of the evening included the performance by the group ‘Fighting Gravity’ which got a huge response from the judges and audience alike.
