Los Angeles, Sept 8 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A former model of the television game show “The Price Is Right” has filed a suit against her former employers for wrongful termination of her contract. On Wednesday, Lanisha Cole filed the suit at the Los Angeles County Superior Court.

The 20-page suit claims that some producers of the show sexually harassed her during her time on the show. She claimed that the producers humiliated her on several occasions and berated her as well. The suit names Michael G. Richards, Adam Sandler and the show’s parent company Fremantle Media North America as the defendants.

Lawyer Solomon Gresen who is representing Lanisha told reporters that, “This case is about senior-level men in the entertainment industry exploiting power and control over women by bullying and harassing female talent. Ms. Cole did nothing to provoke Richards and Sandler. Once the harassment began, she was powerless to stop it.”

Lanisha was fired from the show some months back and she claims that she was targeted when she made a complainant about sexual harassment. She was with the game show from 2003 and her lawyer described her as “a fan favorite and the longest tenured model on ‘TPIR’.”
