July 30, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The regular viewers of the ABC talk show “The View” could not have asked for more during Thursday morning’s episode which featured none other than President Barack Obama as the special guest. With his appearance in the highly popular chat show, the United States President created history as he is the very first sitting president to appear on a daytime television talker. It hardly comes as a bolt from blue that President Barack Obama’s stint on “The View” has been successful in creating quite a buzz across political circles with critics claiming that his appearance was a desperate attempt to woo the middle-aged working class woman who are the usual audience of the ABC chat show.

Throughout the show, the United States President was able to charm that five female hosts of the television show with his sense of humor and at one point claiming that one of the main reasons which propelled him to come on the show was the fact that he wanted to appear on a program which his wife watched regularly. President Barack Obama gave candid replies to the huge array of questions thrown at him, admitting that he was aware of the fact that Lindsay Lohan was in jail while pointing out that he had no idea who Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi of “Jersey Shore” fame actually was.

However, this is not the first time that President Barack Obama has appeared on “The View.” He known to have been on the ABC talk show twice earlier, once when he was busy with his election campaign.
