Dec. 03, (THAINDIAN NEWS) In her usual offhand panache, the much visibly pregnant Padma Lakshmi chose to shed her clothes for a nude photo-shoot for a magazine cover. With her trademark elan, the stunning model showed the world just how much sexy a soon to be mom could be. Decked up with nothing besides jewelries and an alluring look in her eyes, the “Top Chef” host sizzled on the cover of the magazine.

If it’s some weight that the willowy television personality knows to “show” around, it’s her baby weight. Which she admits that she has put on all the more quickly, since the time she conceived. The leggy lady admits candidly, “One of the reasons I’ve gained weight pretty quickly is that I’m not exercising as much as I do normally. I can’t. I’m feeling tired.”

Padma Lakshmi spoke on a wide variety of topics during the entire course of the interview but one topic that she chose to willingly give the slip the whole time was the identity of the father of her baby. She admits that despite being six months in to her pregnancy, she is blissfully ecstatic about the having her curvy shape on display and not at all uncomfortable regarding the same.

While broaching the topic of the nude photo-shoot, the former model stated, “I like me better naked.” She of course clarified then that she doesn’t mean it any “vain way” but in general she feels that when one put on clothes, they immediately adopt a character. Without the garb of the clothes, one is exposed and there’s nothing to hide.
