July 26, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Santosh Sivan has added a couple of new actors in the case of his new movie Urumi. The two are popular South Indian movie stars Prabhu Deva and Chandan Roy Sanyal from Bollywood of Kaminey fame.
Prabhu Deva will essay the role of one of the four friends who attempt to kill Vasco De Gama, alongside Prithviraj. Prabhu Deva is the one who would act as the mastermind to slay the ruler.
The tag line of Urumi says, “The Boy who wanted to kill Vasco Da Gama”. The movie would have two songs, composed by Deepak Dev and choreographed and picturized on Prabhu Deva, Prithviraj and the lovely, young Genelia.
Chandan Roy Sanyal was excited about his role in the movie. He plays a wicked prince. The character played by him is in opposition to his cousin, who dates a princess as played by Genelia. Chandan’s character continuously tries to win her over.
