Aug 11 (IBNS) Pictures showing Twilight star Ashley Greene nude have hit the web, with her lawyer issuing a warning to net users: Post them and you’ll likely get sued.

The lawyer said: The photos in question, which appear to be of our client, are illegal and are being unlawfully displayed. Our client intends to take legal action.”

Greene, 22, appeared Sunday at the Teen Choice Awards in Los Angeles, where she picked up the Choice Fresh Face Female award. In total, Twilight notched up 11 trophies at the award show.

The actress is the latest starlet involved in a nude photo scandal. Recently, Leighton Meester denied the existence of a long-rumored sex tape. And in 2007, naked photos of Vanessa Hudgens surfaced online, forcing the actress to apologize to her fans.

Ashley Michele Greene (born February 21, 1987) is an American television and film actress. She is best known for playing Alice Cullen in the 2008 film Twilight, and will be reprising the role in its sequels.

Greene was born in Jacksonville, Florida, the daughter of Michele, who works in insurance, and Joe Greene, a U.S. Marine who now owns his own concrete business. She grew up in Middleburg and Jacksonville, and went to University Christian School before transferring to Wolfson High School when she was in tenth grade. She moved to Los Angeles, California at the age of 17 to pursue an acting career. Greene has one sibling, an older brother named Joe, who still resides in Jacksonville with her parents.
