Posh had “facial expression” lessons before American Idol appearance

Melbourne, Aug 13 (ANI): Victoria Beckham took private lessons to soften her English accent and work on her facial expressions before appearing on American Idol, sources say.
“Victoria knows she has a very thick British accent and is sometimes misunderstood in America,” News.com.au quoted a source as saying.
The insider said: “She wanted to come across the best she could on American Idol, so she took some private lessons on how to properly pronounce words and how to make appropriate facial expressions. ”
Apart from all this effort, she reportedly underwent drama lessons too.
Meanwhile, she confessed that she did not want to cast an impression that she is moody so worked on shedding her pout.
She said before filming: “I’m going to try hard to pout and not shatter the illusion that I’m a moody cow, but I don’t know if I can,”
The source said: “Victoria is famous for her pout but she herself admitted she wanted to shed that pout for the show to come across more human.”
The singer reportedly revealed that her footballer husband David and three kids - Brooklyn, 10, Romeo, six, and four-year-old Cruz - persuaded her to take part in the show.
Victoria replaced Paula Abdul as a judge on the talent show. (ANI)
