Porn baron Larry Flynt hospitalized

Larry Flynt, publisher of sexually explicit magazines such as Hustler and Barely Legal was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital Saturday.
Flynt, who heads Larry Flynt Publications (LFP) was reportedly transported to a hospital in his own car Saturday afternoon for an unknown condition.
The 66-year-old porn magnate has often been at the center of prominent legal battles over the First Amendment and was first prosecuted on obscenity and organized crime charges in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1976.
He was sentenced to seven to 25 years and served just six days before the sentence was overturned on a technicality.
In the August 1975 issue of Hustler he published nude pictures of former first lady Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis sunbathing on vacation in 1971 which he had paid a paparazzo $18,000 for.
In 1976 Flynt created his privately held company Larry Flynt Publications (LFP) and in 1998 he started to produce pornographic movies through the Hustler Video film studio.
Flynt has been paralyzed from the waist down since a 1978 assassination attempt in Georgia when he and his lawyer were ambushed defending another legal case.
