Dec 9, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Derrick Burts, 24, a bisexual porn actor who tested positive for HIV has said that the industry should use condoms compulsorily. The adult film actor was tested positive for HIV in October but his identity was not disclosed to the public then. He identified himself to a reputed media source on Wednesday and said that he neglected the safety and wishes if he had known more about the sexually transmitted disease.

Derrick Burts has even urged everyone to make condom use mandatory so that the risk of sexually transmitted diseases become less. He was known as “Cameron Reid” in the normal straight films and “Derek Chambers” in the gay movies. He described the whole detail of how he came to know about his disease from Adult Industry Medical Healthcare Foundation. He said that he got a call from the medical official on October who asked him for a check up and perform a follow up check-up. Derrick Burts said that his first HIV test in September was negative and all his co-stars were tested negative as well.

Derrick Burts was previously known as Patient Zeta was, reportedly, informed by the clinic officials in October 23 that he tested HIV positive. The clinic officials, reportedly, said that the virus is transmitted while he was working in his movie. On the other hand, the clinic refused to divulge any more details about the other performer owing to patient confidentiality. Derrick Burts thought that he was contracted while he was shooting for a gay movie in Florida. On the other hand, the clinic released a statement where it was stated that Derrick Burts acquired this virus through his personal and private activity. Patient Zeta denied the news completely and said that the reports are false as in his personal life he had sex with only his girlfriend.
