The 22 year old singer has emerged as a promising artist whose work is being looked forward to by music lovers after it came to light that her single “TiK ToK” has been downloaded around 610,000 times in just one week. This enabled the young singer to set the record of the most downloaded track by any female artist within a period of a week.

The track “TiK ToK” is part of Ke$ha debut album ‘Animal’ which is scheduled to be released on January 5 this year. However, the enormous popularity of the debut single leaves hardly any doubt about the success that young artist’s debut album is likely to receive. Meanwhile, the much acclaimed song was released on radio in the month of October last year and since then the single has received immense popularity. The track gradually emerged as the top airplay gainer, leaving behind musical icon Jay-Z as well as another promising young singer- Taylor Swift.

However, the success that the hit single has received does not just end here, as it sold around 2 million copies after the track appeared on iTunes. At the same time, the popularity of the hit single can be estimated from the fact that apart from United States, the track became the No.1 hit in a number of other countries such as Australia, New Zealand and Canada. Meanwhile, people who have enjoyed Ke$ha’s music are eagerly awaiting the release for her debut album, which is expected to take the music industry by storm.
