Political blade on Sach Ka Saamna

Recently some Politicians in Rajya Sabha created a lot of hungama over the reality show Sach Ka Saamna on Star Plus. They have expressed concern over the alleged morally outrageous content on the show, which is not suitable for Indian families to watch .
“They created a lot of halla on the content of Sach Ka Saamna by stating, the host of the show Rajeev Khandelwal is asking offensive questions to the contestants, just for the sake of getting high TRP’s,” says the source.
The question was raised in the Sabha about the first contestant- Smita. “She was asked, whether she would sleep with another man if her husband doesn’t come to know. To that she replied “NO’, but the polygraph test stated otherwise. It was quite shocking for the contestant and her husband,” adds the source.
This matter has been taken to Information and Broadcasting Ministry (IB). “They have served a notice to the channel and the show, though there was no reply from the other side,” chirps the little birdie.
We tried contacting the channel and the production house but they were not ready to give any comment on the same.
We also tried to get in touch with the host, Rajiv Khandelwal, but he washed his hands off the matter with a glib reply- “I’m not allowed to comment on any queries about Sach Ka Saamna, so kindly contact the channel.”
Now only IB ministry and TV will tell what the future of the show is. But truly, we can say here that “Truth is always bitter…’
