Playboy mansion’s hot tub infected with deadly bacteria

Los Angeles, April 18 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Health officials in Los Angeles have identified the potentially deadly bacteria legionella in the hot tub in the Playboy Mansion. The officials commenced investigation after 123 people who attended a fundraising party in the mansion fell ill.

The fundraising for DomainFest was held in February and attended by more than 400 people. The officials contacted all the people who attended the party through Facebook and Twitter and informed them about the situation. Tests also showed that three of the people had contracted the H1N1 virus. However 69 people fell ill during the party.

The legionella bacteria is potentially deadly because it causes the dreaded legionnaires’ disease. The officials say they have not yet found any evidence that the 123 people were sickened by the virus. The officials are investigating all potential causes of the outbreak including influenza.

Playboy founder and iconic owner Hugh Hefner is set to marry his girlfriend, 24-year-old Crystal Harris. The 84-year-old recently announced that they couple would travel to London before returning to the Playboy Mansion for the wedding. The wedding is going to be held in June.

Hefner and Crystal would appear in the center-page of the Playboy Magazine in June.
