July 1, 2010 (Pen Men at Work): Rumors of Vienna Girardi posing for the Playboy magazine are afloat. But representatives of the magazine quelled all doubts by expressing surprise at the news.

A Playboy representative spoke to the US Magazine and said that they had no news about such an offer. The magazine has not made any kind of offer to the contestant of ‘The Bachelor’ and there was absolutely no question of her posing for its cover.

Vienna had been dating Jake Pavelka, the star of ‘The Bachelor’. However, the romance was short lived with the two splitting recently. Girardi apparently started the rumors herself by saying that she had been approached for appearing on the Playboy cover. She also said that the negotiations for an appropriate fee were still on but she hoped to settle the deal for $250,000.

She is also reported stating that being on ‘The Bachelor’ had been a loss for her, as she did not get paid at all. Moreover, living with the star, Jake had wiped out all her savings as well. She was therefore keen on taking up the Playboy offer which would also give her a chance to have fun. Besides, she needed the money, she said. However, Jake Pavelka and his friends are not amused by this accusation. “She practically fleeced him and he ended up paying for everything during their brief time together.” This was how his friend put it.

The Playboy might have not considered her for its cover but Vienna is not a stranger to posing for provocative pictures either. Reports confirm that she had been seen virtually topless, with her breasts covered only by a scarf, in the calendar of C.O.D. Trees, Inc.
