August 9, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): In most of the music release functions music directors, lyricists, and playback singers are left unnoticed. Such occasions usually have spotlights focused on the celebrities, actors, and actresses. Even if the music directors and lyricists are invited, they aren’t invited to the podiums.

But filmmaker “Punch’ Bharath seems to be elated as he expressed his token of appreciation for music director Tashi, playback singers and lyric writers of his film Neethaana Avan. The film’s music was recently released at Film Chamber with Bharath’s mother releasing the album and actress Yuvarani receiving the first copy along with music director Tashi and others.

All the playback singers (Ajay Sathyan, Umapathy Dasan, Vinitha, and Sahana) who have crooned songs for this album were individually honored. Thanking “Punch’ Bharath for this gesture, music director Tashi said, “Although, the film has newcomers in lead roles, “Punch’ Bharath was kind enough to spend quality time over getting the best tunes. Indeed, he wanted me to compose the background score with the best orchestra and the songs have come out really well…”

Neethaana Avan is a comedy action thriller that features newcomer Sadan in the lead role and producers are planning to release the film by September.
