Pixie Lott’s surprise performance for charitable kids
June 29th, 2010 - 6:18 pm ICT by ANILondon, June 29 (ANI): Pixie Lott gave a surprise performance at a school in England as a reward for kids who raised money for charity by singing her hit song ‘Boys & Girls’.
The singer performed in Amesbury School in Surrey to thank the students who teamed up and sang her song, which instantly became an Internet hit and helped raise money for the Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) organisation.
“When I first heard their version of my song it instantly put a smile on my face. They did such a great job and made it their own. This whole group of children made me so proud,” the Daily Star quoted Lott as saying.
The singer has become a supporter of CRY to help raise awareness about the danger of undetected heart conditions. (ANI)
