Pitts ‘Jesse James’ bags S.F. Film Critics Circles best pic gong

London, Dec 12 (ANI): Brad Pitt starrer ‘The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford’ won the best picture award from the San Francisco Film Critics Circle.

Joel and Ethan Coen was tabbed top director for No Country for Old Men, reports Variety.

The best actor gong went to George Clooney for Michael Clayton, while Julie Christie bagged the top lead actress award for Away from Her.

Casey Affleck nabbed top supporting actor award for ‘the Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford,’ while Amy Ryan was pronounced best supporting actress for Gone Baby Gone.

Best foreign film award went to The Diving Bell and the Butterfly and No End in Sight, was voted as the best documentary.
