Pitt-ed against Cruise
August 22nd, 2009 - 12:52 pm ICT by Sampurn Wire ( Leave a comment )Brad Pitt has called Tom Cruise’s Valkyrie a ridiculous movie. The actor whose film, Inglourious Basterds released this month has claimed that his portrayal of Nazi hunter Aldo Raine in Tarantino’s film cannot be compared to Cruise’s character. The film has released after Cruise’s Valkyrie (which was about a plot to kill Nazi leader, Adolf Hitler), which came less than a year ago.
He feels that the Second World War could deliver more stories but Tarantino has put a lid on it with Basterds. Everything that could have been done with World War II as the background has been done.
