Pitt, Carrey bag top Webby awards

Los Angeles, May 5 (IANS) Actors Brad Pitt and Jim Carrey have won top honours at this year’s Webby Awards for their contributions to the world of internet.
The organisers of the awards, which celebrate the best of the net, picked Pitt in the activism category for the website of his “Make It Right” foundation launched in 2007 to help rebuild New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina.
Carrey landed a Webby and a people’s voice award for his official fan site, reports aceshowbiz.com.
Former “Friends” star Lisa Kudrow’s web series, “Web Therapy”, has also won an award for best comedy series.
