Melbourne, Jan 27 (ANI): Brad Pitt has reportedly shelled out 1.1 million dollars on a bachelor pad to help him sort out his split from Angelina Jolie.

The Hollywood Hills house, built in 1920, is complete with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a bar area. A cave is built into the foundations.

“The house oozes character,” News.com.au quoted a source, as saying.

The insider added: “Brad has had his eye on it for some time but he decided now was the right time to buy because he wanted a place to call his own.

“He needs somewhere quiet that doesn’t have memories of Angie where he can be alone and think about what he does next.”

According to one report, Jolie gave up on Pitt because of his laddish lifestyle. American sources say the pair had been trying desperately to avoid a split since the last 12 months.

Pitt and Jolie are already believed to be talking to lawyers about splitting their 332 million dollar fortune and sharing the custody of their six children.

However a family source said: “Brad is desperately trying to cling on to the wreckage of the relationship as he is still very much in love with Angelina and believes they can make it work.

And Pitt’s mum Jane is trying her best to save the relationship.

The insider added: “Jane wants what is best for her son and grandchildren and Angie has agreed to meet her. She has stuck at her own marriage and worked with families for 30 years trying to keep them together.” (ANI)
