Pippa Middleton splits from her boyfriend Alex Loudon
November 11th, 2011 - 11:14 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattLondon, Nov 11 (THAIDNIAN NEWS) The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, is reportedly consoling her sister Pippa following her split from long-term boyfriend Alex Loudon. Pippa and Loudon have been together for five years but their relationship has been experiencing some rocky moments lately, a source told the British newspaper The Sun.
The newspaper reported that tension has been brewing between Pippa and Loudon ever since the Royal Wedding. The two briefly split in the summer. Sources quoted in the newspaper said Loudon got overly jealous when Pippa was portrayed as sex-symbol in the media following the wedding which was held at the end of April and watched by almost 1 billion people.
The Sun quoted a close source to Pippa as saying that, “Pippa tried to get over the split by spending last weekend with Wills and Kate at Balmoral. She and Alex split briefly in the summer - but this time it’s over. They are barely speaking.”
With the report that there is no chance of reconciliation, another source told the newspaper that Pippa is currently open for another relationship. A friend of the 27-year-old revealed that she is likely to go for another sporty guy. Loudon is a former cricketer.
There has been no official confirmation of the split.
