Los Angeles, Feb 1, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Grammy Awards 2010 took place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Jan 31, 2010. This was the 52nd installment of the award ceremony. Among the performers in the ceremony, the one who really stood out was Pink. In fact, her performance was somewhat reminiscent of that in the MTV Music Video Awards. Her performance was electric, as was expected. She had also been nominated in the category of the Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for her single “Sober” and also the category of the Best Pop Vocal Album for her latest album “Funhouse.”

Pink arrived for the Grammy Awards performance dressed in a silver white off the shoulder gown, matching danglers and a beautiful clutch in her hand to complete the look. Needless to say, she looked stunning as usual, the coiffured hair setting her face off beautifully. Later on, however, she traded her look for a silver white hooded robe, open down the front, for her performance on stage. She soon let that slip to the ground too, revealing herself in only a flesh colored bodysuit, covered with spangles and glitters.

Pink began her performance with a rendition of “Sober.” It was great, with the singer displaying some amazing acrobatic skills, all the while suspended in the air. According to most in the audience, the waterworks were the best part of the performance. After rendition of “Sober,” Pink moved effortlessly to a song from “Funhouse,” called “Glitter In The Air.” The end of this performance was the best, with the singer spinning on the cloth she was suspended by, justifying the standing ovation that she received at the end of it all.
