Los Angeles, April 30 (IANS) “America’s Got Talent” judge Piers Morgan lashed out at pop singer Madonna’s charity work in Malawi, as he accused some celebrities of treating charity work like “a fashion accessory”
“I regard anything Madonna does with deep cynicism. There are people out there who literally view charitable work, from what I can see, as a fashion accessory,” the British journalist-turned-TV personality said, reports imdb.com.
“I feel uncomfortable sometimes about the motives of celebrities and some charity work I see going on,” he said.
Madonna uses her Raising Malawi Foundation to improve education and facilities for families in the impoverished nation.
