Los Angeles, Dec 16 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Its been a long walk but Larry King now needs a break, and that too, a break for good. As such, CNN has found his replacement in Piers Morgan.

Larry King’s program, “Larry King Live” has run for several decades now. King’s unique way of interviewing earned him several viewers and he was also able to interview several top politicians all over the world. With his exit, there is no doubt that an era has ended.

The big shoes have now been given to Piers to wear. Whether Piers can continue the great work started by King can only be answered after sometime. It must however be noted that Piers is not new to broadcasting. He has been the editor for the British tabloids, News of the World and the Daily Mirror.

Larry King will have his last program on CNN tonight and the people that Larry will interview tonight are Naomi and Wynonna Judd and the legendary Barbra Streisand. Towards the end of the show, Larry King will add the following line, “I’ve had a great ride. I’ve got no complaints.”

Piers is one of the judges on the reality show, “America’s Got Talent”.
