London, Mar 27 (ANI): Former James Bond Pierce Brosnan and Uma Thurman have been roped in to play Greek gods in a film based on Rick Riordan’s novel.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the pair will be seen in Percy Jackson And The Lightning Thief, an adaptation of Riordan’s first novel in his popular five-book series.
The story is based on Greek mythology and centres around young Percy Jackson, who discovers that he is the son of Poseidon, god of the sea, reports the Daily Express.
Chris Columbus of ‘Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets’ fame will direct the movie, which is slated for release in February 2010. (ANI)
