Pia Toscano to perform on ‘Dancing with the Stars’
April 21st, 2011 - 12:02 am ICT by Aishwarya BhattLos Angeles, April 20 (THAINDIAN NEWS) American Idol reject Pia Toscano has been called to perform next week at the hit show “Dancing with the Stars.”
Call it a back pass from Fox to ABC and you wouldn’t be wrong because it has been confirmed that Pia would indeed perform at DWTS. The announcement did not give any further information regarding the song that Pia would perform when she appears on the show.
On Tuesday, supermodel Petra Nemcova was eliminated from the show. She was grateful that she got to take part in the show using it to highlight her charitable organization, Happy Hearts.
Pia has a special connection to DWTS. Though she is not among the contestants, she has her eyes fixed on the competition because of Mark Ballas. Ballas recently confirmed rumors that he is dating Pia. During an interview with Access Hollywood, Ballas revealed that the he was introduced to Pia by fellow “Dancing with the Stars” contestant Chris Jericho.
Mark explained that on his first date with Pia, he spoke to her about her elimination from American Idol. To him, Pia deserved to win the competition.
