Phish Returns After Five Months

phish1June 12, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Phish, the American rock band returned with their official summer show last Friday, June 11 after 5 months from their last performance.

The fans were in lively spirit when they found their favorite band play. The group is well known for its improvisation. On Friday night at Toyota Park Concert in Chicago Phish gave the fans and listeners a joyride to the world of music.

As per reports the show stated at 7:42 p.m. CDT with their famous song “Down With Disease” and then continued with the older hits. It is reported that the newest song that the band sang is the song from 1994. When the show started, the guitarist Trey Anastasio congratulated Chicago for Stanley Cup victory of Chicago Blackhawks.

The band played a good number of time. As per reports, it was a performance worth watching though most of the songs performed at the first show were the same as those they performed last year with a few exceptions.

Few songs that top the chart are “The Story Of The Ghost”, “Jesus Just Left Chicago” etc. The reports say that “Show of Life”, a song co-written by Trey Anastasio was praised well.

As per reports, to promote the summer tour of Phish, the band appeared on the “Night with Jimmy Fallon” show where they sang their bestselling numbers. The show was broadcast on Wednesday. The song “Kill Devil Falls” gathered lot of appreciation from the viewers.

The band Phish had an official break up in August 2004. Then they reunited again after 5 years for three shows at the Hampton Coliseum in Hampton, Virginia.

They had their four shows lined up for their summer tour in Miami, Florida which culminated on New Year’s Eve.
