Season 3 of “Real Housewives” was premiered on Oct 4 in Bravo cable network. After New York, and New Jersey, its time for the women in Atlanta to prove themselves this season. With a promise of some extra drama, the third season named “New Attitude”, seemed very exciting and captivating.

The participants of this season are Shere Whitfield, fashion designer; NeNe Leakes, author; Kim Zolciak, singer and wig designer; Kandi Burruss, record producer and singer; Cynthia Bailey, model and Phaedra Parks, attorney. Amongst all the contestants, Phaedra Parks and Cynthia Bailey were the two new contestants. It is however not clear whether the two new members will turn out to be the “Full- time” members of the show, or will just be considered as “Friends’ of Lisa Wu Hartwell, Kim Zolciak, NeNe Leakes and Kandi Burruss.

Phaedra Parks is a famous celebrity attorney of Atlanta and has fought cases on behalf of Jermaine Dupri and Bobby Brown. She her own share of fame as an attorney, with nick names like, Georgia Super Lawyers “Rising Stars”, “Attorney of Distinction”. She is the managing partner for the Parks Group which deals with contract negotiation, civil litigation and criminal defense. She got married in November 1, 2009, to Apollo Nida, who was convicted for racketeering and was sentenced to jail on July 28, 2004. He was paroled on May 27, 2009, to curtail his imprisonment to five years, instead of eighteen.

Quite a new housewife in real life, it would be interesting to watch, how an attorney handles the media speculations and manipulations in the show. Where all other participants are more or less acquainted with media limelight, Phaedra Parks, who is quite new to it, will be an interesting watch.
