Nov 5, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Peter Frampton was the latest guest on the “Oprah Winfrey Show” on Thursday. There were yet a few more stars who were invited on the show the same day, Shaun Cassidy, Jackie Jackson and The Backstreet Boys. Like every other episode, this episode too was made exciting by Oprah Winfrey. However, it was not as big a treat as it was the last day, when the entire cast of the classic musical, “Sound Of Music”was featured.

Nevertheless, in this episode, Peter Frampton and Shaun Cassidy performed a medley on “Hey Deanie,” “Da Doo Ron Ron,” and “That’s Rock and Roll”. This was the first time in thirty years that he performed this particular medley, and therefore once gain the episode started getting pumped up. Yet another exciting gossip was unleashed in the show when president of the Oprah Winfrey network revealed that Peter Frampton used to be her childhood crush and that he gave her a surprise visit during her rehearsals. It was also revealed that the singer has very good terms with Oprah Winfrey and has been emulating her by donating to several charitable causes, like AIDS research programs in the United States, United Kingdoms and also other nations around the world who are lagging behind in AIDS research.

Shaun Cassidy also performed after really long on her show, although he never sounded like he has not been singing for the last fifteen years. The Back Street boys also made an amazing performance and it so good that no one could tell that they were performing live. It was as good as lip syncing. Finally, the last surprise of the show was given by Jackie Jackson from the Jackson 5, who happened to be Oprah Winfrey’s teenage crush. He gave her surprise visit on the show with a bunch of flowers and asked her for a date.
