Peter Andre ‘to stage free gig for charity in UK’
December 12th, 2009 - 4:16 pm ICT by ANI ( Leave a comment )London, December 12 (ANI): Peter Andre has agreed to do one of the biggest free concerts ever seen in Britain for charity, it has emerged.
The show, which is part of the singer’s mega-deal to front Coca-Cola’s Christmas charity campaign, will raise funds for the Help A London Child charity.
“I love Christmas and everything associated with it, so I jumped at the chance to help bring a little extra cheer,” the Daily Star quoted Andre as saying.
He added: “I can’t wait to sing some of the nation’s favourite and best- known Christmas songs and really start feeling Christmassy!”
However, the capital’s council bosses are worried about a stampede during the event.
A pal said: “He is the man of the moment and has to have extra security everywhere he goes.
“This will be no exception. It has taken a lot of negotiating and will be the biggest free gig of its kind.” (ANI)
