London, June 9 (ANI): Peter Andre is saddened because he has been granted access to his children only on weekends, and he wants to spend more time with them.

The ‘Mysterious Girl’ singer has begged his estranged wife Katie Price to allow him more time with Junior, three, Princess Tiaamii, one, and Harvey, Katie’s seven-year-old son by Dwight Yorke.

“I am obviously still reeling but I have to focus and stay strong for the children because if I crumble then I’m no use to them. As the weeks pass by I’m missing them more and more and it really keeps me going to know I’ll get to see them every week,” the Mirror quoted him as saying.

He added: “I’m hoping that once I’m settled in at my new place, I’ll be able to see them a lot more and not just weekends.”

In an interview with New! magazine, he added: “I only got to see Harvey a few hours.”

Peter and Jordan engaged in a massive row at the weekend after he brought the children home at 12pm on June 7.

And 31-year-old Katie accused him of bringing them back early, while Peter’s camp claimed that she was lying, saying it was what their lawyers agreed.

Meanwhile, Peter said that he still wasn’t eating properly because of his heartache and was a stone lighter.

He even blasted rumours of a “quickie” divorce in six weeks, saying: “It’s news to me. I didn’t even know you could get divorced that quickly.”

Agent Claire Powell said yesterday said: “As far as the children’s visitation is concerned, Peter feels it is a private matter and should remain that way.” (ANI)
